Job Title: Locum Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine physician for a locum position in Bay City Michigan. This assignment is strictly onsite at a well-established facility where your expertise will be valued in a vibrant community. The practice supports a wide array of patients ensuring full ED support with nursing and tech alongside comprehensive services including laboratory work and radiology. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with fellow medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions as required.
• Document patient care comprehensively using the Cerner EHR system.
• Participate in shift rotations with various shift times including mornings afternoons evenings and nights.
• Contribute to the training and mentoring of support staff and new physicians.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with ED experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive in managing patient care and emergency situations.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Michigan medical license (no exceptions).
• Current certifications in ACLS BLS PALS; ATLS required for FM/IM physicians.
• Clean background for quick credentialing process.
• Must submit a self-query from NPDB (must be pulled within 30 days of presentation).
