Job Summary

Job Title: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients.
Manage and treat an average of 80 patients per day.
Perform various procedures including suturing incision and drainage and evaluation of acute conditions.
Collaborate with a dedicated medical team to ensure complete patient care.
Utilize the Cerner EHR for patient documentation and management.
Monitor and provide treatment for critical volume and blood pressure issues.
Participate in scheduled shifts as assigned which include varied hours throughout the day.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with a minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience.
Active Michigan medical license required at the time of clearance.
Current certifications in ACLS BLS and PALS.
Must have a clean background for quick credentialing.
Local candidates are preferred; no exceptions.
Ability to provide exact availability from designated dates.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Michigan License (MI) required.
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or acceptable alternatives.
Current certifications in ACLS BLS and PALS.
