JOB SUMMARY

Assist IQC on technical support for the material incoming inspection group. To establish the proper work instructions to guide IQC inspectors on receiving the quality materials. Work with SQE and workcell engineers to handle the incoming quality issues related to IQC and take preventative actions if possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support to IQC technicians and inspectors.
Prepare IQC work instruction and inspection plan.
Review First Article inspection (FAI) report which is prepared by IQC technician.
Work with related parties (SQE workcell QE/ME etc) to improve incoming performance by reducing those non-quality related QN (quality notification).
Provide training to IQC technician leader and inspector where necessary.
To deal with workcell complaints about IQC problem provide valuable input to IQC and take actions when necessary.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of Jabils software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
