About the Role
We are seeking a Tool Development Engineer to support the development and enhancement of automation tools used in software delivery and application data management. The role involves building applications supporting integration workflows maintaining cloud-based server environments and collaborating with agile teams to deliver high-quality tooling solutions.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python and Power BI familiar with cloud platforms and experienced with modern version control and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation tools using Visual Studio Visual Studio Code PowerBI and related technologies.
Participate in agile development cycles (Scrum Kanban) and collaborate using GitHub repositories.
Implement automation scripts workflows and software changes for integration and data management processes.
Support maintenance and automation of server infrastructure across Oracle AWS and Azure.
Perform routine dataquality checks and assist in test execution to validate tools and workflows.
Contribute to documentation code reviews and continuous improvement activities within the team.
Collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software integration.
Required Skills & Experience
46 years of experience in software development or test automation.
Proficiency in Python and Power BI
Experience with Git/GitHub and familiarity with version control best practices.
Working knowledge of Jira cloud services (AWS/Azure) and databases.
Understanding of agile methodologies and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
Good to Have
Prior experience supporting tool development for automotive or embedded systems.
Knowledge of server automation or workflow optimization frameworks.
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
