We specialise in helping our clients with the drafting of Shariah-compliant Islamic Wills in the UK.

Job Brief:

We are seeking a professional and proactive Legal Secretary / Secretary to join our team on an initial temporary basis with the strong possibility of a permanent role dependent on performance.

As a Private Client firm specialising in Wills Estates and related services we are looking for someone who brings both competence and compassion to support our busy practice. Previous experience in Private Client work is highly desirable.

This role is ideal for an organised detail-oriented individual who thrives in a client-facing environment and is looking to build a rewarding long-term career in the legal sector.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the office and legal administration including:

Diary management for fee earners and client appointments
Transcription and accurate document preparation
General office administration and secretarial support
Reception duties including welcoming clients and managing incoming calls
Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks (previous experience desirable)

Job Specification:

Minimum two years of secretarial experience
Strong typing and transcription skills
Professional communication skills and a confident telephone manner
Ability to multitask prioritise and work efficiently in a busy legal environment
Experience in Wills Estates or Private Client work is an advantage
Basic bookkeeping knowledge is beneficial
