Overview
We are excited to announce theJ.Jill Internship Program our 10-week paid summer internship running from June through August 2026. Designed for rising juniors and seniors this program provides hands-on exposure to a leading specialty retail company. Interns will contribute to daily business activities within their assigned departments while also gaining a broader understanding of through cross-functional learning opportunities. This is a full-time program based at our office in Quincy Massachusetts.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in the retail product lifecycle from concept and design through sourcing sampling costing and production. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional partners including merchandising design sourcing marketing and quality teams to support the creation of new product.

Responsibilities
- Support Product Managers Designers and Fabric teams in researching fabrics print techniques and wash methods that meet design and margin goals
- Assist with gathering cost information and preparing cost comparisons for new styles
- Organize and review samples with the Product and Design teams to ensure accuracy and detail alignment
- Help coordinate and track sample yardage prototypes presentation samples and photo samples
- Assist in preparing materials and updates for weekly seasonal status meetings
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrates curiosity initiative and a desire to learn about Product Development
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team while managing independent tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint)
