Location: Arlington TX Area
Schedule: Full-Time Mixed Shift Rotating Weekends
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $84843 $127275 (Based on experience)

Position Overview
The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services provides leadership and oversight for the Operating Room. This role ensures high-quality patient care by directing nursing operations supporting staff development and maintaining compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee delivery of professional nursing care for all surgery patients
Maintain and interpret department policies to support compliance and quality
Serve as a key liaison between OR staff administration medical staff and other departments
Team Development
Partner with the OR Educator to manage onboarding and ongoing staff education
Conduct performance reviews and identify staff development needs
Support a positive collaborative and high-performing team culture
Strategic & Financial
Assist with annual operating and capital budget planning
Develop departmental goals objectives and performance metrics
Contribute to operational improvement and resource optimization
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care Operating Room
Minimum 5 years of OR RN clinical experience
Strong knowledge of surgical nursing practices
Licensure & Certifications
Active Texas RN license or Compact license
BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
Preferred: CNOR Certification
