Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Packaging and Shipping Specialist at CMOP Tucson AZ. Join our team as acivilian Packaging and Shipping Specialist and give back to our military community and their families.
Qualifications:
- Have three (3) years experience doing work of a similar nature.
- Be able to be cross trained to cover other assigned areas as needed.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
Core Duties:
- Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content
- Selection of appropriate type and size of container
- Inserting enclosures in container
- Using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage
- Closing and sealing container
- Applying labels or entering identifying data on container
- Operates various types of packaging equipment
- Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment
- Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner
- Supervisory tasks include day to day administration of assigned operational area (production floor) and to coordinate activities with other productions areas.
- Orient new contract technicians and assist with the evaluating performance.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 2 shifts available
- 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
