This role will be a full-time 12-month fixed-term contract starting in July 2026 and will be paid the London living wage.This role is based full-time in our London office.

Sony Pictures is a leading global studio behind blockbuster franchises such as Spider-Man Jumanji and Ghostbusters as well as iconic television series including The Crown Breaking Bad and Outlander. This internship sits within the Regional Marketing & Research team of the EMEA Distribution division which is responsible for distributing our film and television content across Europe the Middle East and Africa.
The EMEA Distribution Marketing team works closely with Research and Sales to promote and tailor our film and TV titles for buyers across the region. The team ensures partners have the most relevant materials collaborates on activation plans for key series and releases and supports B2B and B2C post-sales marketing.
This London-based regional team partners with local offices in the UK France Iberia Italy Germany the Nordics and Benelux Poland Central Europe the Middle East and Africa as well as liaising regularly with our global team in Los Angeles.
Assist the team in creating presentations for key internal and external meetings and pitches
Gather and consolidate information from regional territories for both the EMEA office and the US office
Act as a day-to-day contact for asset enquiries (promos artwork social media assets decks etc.) across film and series
Support the organisation of screenings special events and other activations
Create B2B marketing assets including e-blasts and LinkedIn posts
Contribute to ad hoc projects such as brainstorm sessions newsletters and planning meetings
Brief and liaise with external agencies on marketing initiatives (presentation decks PR social media creative campaigns etc.)
Track and share internal and competitor best practices
Create and maintain internal tracking spreadsheets
Collaborate with Research Sales Planning and Territory teams on bespoke marketing projects
Over the course of the placement the Marketing Intern will take on key administrative responsibilities and gain exposure to:
Creative planning and campaign development
B2B marketing and internal communications
Event planning and management
The core principles of television and feature film distribution marketing
You will develop practical marketing skills work across multiple teams and territories and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
