Job Summary

P&D customs manager

Import Export Operations

Ensure accurate and complete customs filings; Manage 3PL service providers to ensure timely clearance of goods; Supervise bonded warehouse operations across China; Implement process improvement to enhance clearance efficiency; Oversee the implementation of customs management systems; Lead or participate in customs related projects;

Cost Optimization

Regular review of customs related costs; Identify and implement customs saving opportunities where possible;

Customs compliance and regulatory management

Ensure full compliance with customs laws regulations and procedures during operation; Stay updated on changes in customs legislation; Cope with customs audit and investigations;

Team leadership& development

Lead coach and supervise a team of customs specialists (around 5 people) Manage an outsourced customs operation team

Stakeholder Communication/Government Interface

Collaborate with legal finance tax and logistic functions on various customs related topics Provide reports and insights to senior management on customs performance and compliance status; Act as one of the primary contact points for Customs MOFCOM and other government authorities (together with Tax and Customs Affairs Department)

Skills

In depth knowledge of customs regulations; Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills; Result oriented mindset;
