Job Title:Temporary Advocacy Committee Advisor

Position # Requisition #38511

This is a Temporary position limited to no more than 12-months. This position is part-time and limited to no more than an average of 30 hours a week in a twelve-month period.

Job Summary:

The Department of Psychiatry is expanding its outreach to be more focused on external organizations that have direct impact on our services rates of reimbursement and expertise. This position will assist with development of external relationships. The work will be completed through in-person and remote meetings with the Advocacy Committee and the Vice Chair of Administration and Finance and will report to Viki Manley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with DoP advocacy committee to develop workstreams for the Department to follow.

  • Research applicable groups/persons to understand their legislative and policy positions and industry hot topics.

  • Develop communications and outreach plan for the applicable groups/persons to understand their legislative policy positions and industry hot topics.

  • Coordinating with the staff and faculty leaders on the Departments Advocacy Committee to implement appropriate next steps on action items.

Work Location:

Hybrid this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of # days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$200.00 / hour

The above salary rate represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.
