CNC Systems Support Engineer or Integrated Support Engineer (CNC & IT)
Location: Reynosa / Mexicali
Shift: Day shift (with future expansion to dual shifts)
Reports to: Maintenance Department (with indirect/dotted lines to IT for collaboration)

Key Responsibilities
Act as first-line support for CNC machinery issues diagnosing and resolving faults.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on uptime and efficiency.
Collaborate with IT to perform system integration backup/restore data logging and remote diagnostics.
Coordinate with vendors for technical support upgrades escalations and resource optimization.
Work with operations to make internal setting adjustments and to resolve technical issues or escalate to higher Tier.
Document interventions upgrades and performance metrics.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and coordination between shifts.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Industrial Engineering or related field including IT.
3 years of experience in CNC machinery support or maintenance engineering.
Understanding of CNC Machining Processes: Knowledge of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining Processes.
Familiarity with Amada Ehrt Cincinnati and Finn Power equipment preferred.
Willingness to learn vendor-specific diagnostic tools and software platforms.
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical electrical and IT domains.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and shifts
Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings: Understand and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
Maintain CMM Equipment: Regularly inspect calibrate and troubleshoot CMM equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
Conduct Quality Inspections and Tests: Perform inspections and tests on products to verify compliance with quality standards.
Experience with servo motor/control tuning of CNC drives (i.e. PI/PID controllers low pass & notch filters etc.) and Multi-axis CNC setup &
calibration

Preferred Skills & Certifications
Experience with PLCs CNC programming and industrial networking.
Familiarity with CAD Software: Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is advantageous.
Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems.
Experience with Quality Control Procedures and Methodologies: Familiarity with quality control processes and best practices.
Certifications such as CMRT CompTIA A CompTIA N or vendor-specific credentials (e.g. FANUC Siemens).
Familiarity with CMMS systems and digital maintenance platforms.
Knowledge of computer networks and troubleshooting techniques.
Preferred associate technical discipline (Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field ofstudy) or
two (2) years of hands-on experience in a client (PC) technologies and support services role.
Physical Job Requirements:
Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift 4-6 hours.
Occasionally required to walk sit stoop kneel crouch or bend.
Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.
Regularly lift push or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses shoes ear protection machine interlocks lifting guidelines etc.
