Job Summary

Our client a leading educational institution in Khobar Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Student Counsellor to join their Education and Student Services this role you will provide both academic guidance and wellbeing support helping students to excel academically and develop personally. You will design implement and manage support programs that address diverse learning needs promote emotional wellbeing and foster a positive inclusive student environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and deliver academic support programs tailored to individual learning needs and styles.
Provide one-on-one counselling to assist students with academic planning personal development and emotional wellbeing referring to specialist resources when required.
Coordinate wellbeing initiatives to promote mental health resilience and a supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with faculty and specialist staff to create a holistic support network for students.
Track and evaluate program effectiveness using data and student feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Promote inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in all student-related initiatives.
Stay updated on best practices and research in student academic support and wellbeing.
Raise awareness of available services through proactive outreach and communication strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree in Education Psychology Counselling Social Work or a related field.
Additional certifications in counselling mental health academic advising or student services are an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in student counselling academic advising or related field.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational environment.
Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively with diverse student populations.
