The Cafeteria provides a wide selection of fresh breads pastries sandwiches fruit and beverages as well as coffee and tea available throughout working hours.
We are seeking a Cafeteria Helper to join a team of seven colleagues for at part time of 195 hour work week spread over five days from Monday to Friday with shifts alternating between early and late hours (06:0019:00). Working hours may be adjusted depending on the needs of the department and area of assignment. This role may also involve assignments in other departments including the canteen kindergarten kitchen ISG hotel and catering. Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
Your role
Independently and courteously serving cafeteria guests
Selling food and drinks
Operating all coffee and kitchen machines
Preparing and making small dishes / baked goods
Correct operation of the till system
Taking care of deliveries
Regular wiping of the tables and the counter
Cleaning the cafeteria premises and preparation area
Coordinating and communicating well with the rest of the team
Contributing ideas to increase turnover and improvements
Strict observance of hygiene and accident prevention regulations
The Cafeteria Helper will report to the Head of Cafeteria.
You have
Several years of work experience in food preparation sales and Barista service ideally in an organisation of a similar size and preferably in an international environment.
A conscientious way of working with attention to detail
High affinity for service and sales orientation and have a passion for service
A very friendly open proactive and warm personality with all round communication
Reliability independence and flexible mindset
Good communication skills both in German and in English are a must
Furthermore you should present the certificate according to 43 Para. 1 No. 1 Infection Protection Act (health instruction of the public health department).
