Bremen City Schools is seeking a compassionate student-centered Elementary School Counselor to join our team of dedicated educators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the academic social and emotional development of all students while fostering a positive and inclusive school climate.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Georgia Professional Certificate in School Counseling .
Additional professional licensure such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is preferred and considered beneficial .
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Experience providing individual and group counseling implementing guidance curriculum and supporting MTSS/RTI processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Elementary School Counselor will:

Provide individual and small-group counseling to support students social emotional and academic development.
Deliver classroom guidance lessons aligned with school counseling standards.
Collaborate with teachers administrators and support staff to address student needs and promote positive school culture.
Assist with crisis response behavioral support and student intervention plans.
