Pay rate is fairly flexible for IC and T4 - please still apply if rates are too low.
Posted IC rate: 40.00 - 42.00
Posted T4 rate: 35.00 - 36.44
This role will be a relief operator and will work a rotating schedule.
Currently this is likely to be 5 days on and 2 days off however this could change based on business need.
This could include supporting locations around Cold Lake Bonnyville Vermillion Lloydminster Wainwright Hardisty and various Saskatchewan locations.
Locations Various rotating schedule (likely 5days on 2 days off) supporting all Husky Midstream locations depending on business need. If T4 they will be OT eligible if working greater than 12 hours per day or on non-regular scheduled working days. Truck Rate - $25/hr Fuel Surcharge as per attached Travel Required: 100%

H2S Alive First Aid
Husky Midstream is currently looking for a Contract Operator who will work on a rotating schedule (likely 5 days on 2 days off) supporting all Husky Midstream locations depending on business need.
This could include supporting locations around Cold Lake Bonnyville Vermillion Lloydminster Wainwright Hardisty and various Saskatchewan locations.
Schedule and locations would be discussed and pre-approved by contractor and leader in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and Monitor Equipment: Oversee the operation of pumps compressors and other production equipment. Ensure all machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Data Collection: Record and analyze production data. Use this information to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Environmental Stewardship: Ensure all operations comply with environmental regulations. Participate in initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies including equipment failures and environmental incidents. Participate in emergency response drills.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other field operators engineers and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively and provide support as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or certification in oil and gas operations is preferred.
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications:
Valid safety certifications (e.g. H2S Alive First Aid WHMIS) are required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment. Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule.
