Description

As a Logistics Supervisor here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing logistics processes and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining cost efficiency.

You will report directly to our Materials Manager and youll work out of our Greer SC location on a full-time work schedule.

In this role you will impact the organization by enhancing supply chain efficiency reducing operational costs and improving customer satisfaction through reliable logistics management. Your strategic oversight will contribute significantly to the overall success and competitiveness of Honeywell.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and supervise a team of logistics analysts
  • Oversee shipping receiving and production releases
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations ensuring efficient processes and timely deliveries
  • To innovate and improve the shipping and receiving areas
  • Utilize SAP to manage all shipping and receiving activities
  • Coordinate transportation strategies and optimize logistics operations
  • Analyze data and identify areas for process improvements and cost savings
  • Implement advanced logistics software and tools
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate logistics effectiveness
  • Provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Some Saturdays are required

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • 2 years of proven experience in supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work Saturdays
