Job Description:

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Skillz you will play a key role in building a trusted data ecosystem driving analytical insights and enabling data-backed decision-making. Youll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver clear actionable insights streamline reporting and develop scalable data models that influence business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Align dashboards with updated logic and definitions; ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting.
Audit consolidate and streamline dashboards to improve reliability and reduce redundancy.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover insights that drive measurable business impact.
Build reusable Snowflake models and automate key dashboards and business review reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance drivers and share actionable recommendations.
Partner with data engineers to improve data ingestion and schema design; with focus on performance reliability and cost efficiency.
Implements validation frameworks anomaly detection and alerting.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of data modeling dashboard design and performance measurement frameworks.
Familiarity with data testing alerting version control and CI/CD for analytics workflows.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on driving outcomes.

Experience:

5 years of experience in business intelligence analytics or data strategy roles.
Experience setting upELT/ETL flows: Snowflake Tasks Dynamic Tables FiveTran Airbyte Airflow
Experience with Tableau Looker and/or PowerBI
Experience or passion for the gaming industry preferred.
Bachelors/Masters degree in Analytics Business Economics Statistics Engineering or related fields (preferred not required).
