About the Role
As a Software Engineer building internal tools at Sesame you will be building and maintaining the pipelines and tooling that ingest audio and text data and produce and evaluate trained AIs for text and voice conversation. Youll collaborate with ML engineers and researchers software engineers and other cross-functional teams all as customers of your work.
The ideal candidate for this role is a strong software engineer who also brings a strong sense of UI/UX for bespoke internal tools. Youll build and maintain React-based web tools that let the teams manipulate large datasets in the cloud and the cloud-deployed Python-based infrastructure that brings our products to life. Sesame is a fast-moving startup so you should feel comfortable diving into any of these areas learning new tools and services and bringing with you a strong intuition for robust software engineering and deployment practices.
Responsibilities:
Work on our ML infrastructure internal tooling and data management.
Improve our developer productivity and our application reliability by investing in developer tooling and practices.
Required Qualifications:
Experience working independently in high-ambiguity environments.
Worked on ML infrastructure internal tooling and data management.
Worked with ML/research teams.
Worked on consumer/scalable applications.
Familiar with databases.
Bachelors degree or higher in CS or related field.
3 years of industrial experience in a similar position.
