Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist. This position interprets provider orders and prescriptions compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards. As a Pharmacist Clinical you will:
- Consult with patients and others as required regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
- Provide drug information to patients health care workers and others as necessary.
- Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other supporting staff including directing work flow and assurance of completion of duties.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in area of practice.
Schedule: Variable - days nights weekends holidays etc
This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs vacations and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- 1 year hospital experience strongly preferred
- PGY-1 or BCPS preferred
- May be required to be on-call in certain situations.
- Bachelors Science or Pharm D required
- Active Pharmacist license in the state you are practicing required
- ACLS Preferred
Physical Requirements -Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
