AWS Cloud Platform Engineer

• As a Cloud Platform Engineer you design and automate scalable AWS infrastructure. You implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation optimize CI/CD pipelines ensure security and support applications for Jumbos digital transformation.
• By building a reliable and secure cloud platform you ensure applications run quickly and stably. This supports Jumbos digital innovation and contributes to an optimal customer experience both online and in stores.
• You work in the Container Platform team at the headquarters in Veghel. Together with cloud engineers developers and security specialists you create infrastructure that supports more than 60 DevOps teams.
• You collaborate with domain-specific cloud engineering teams DevOps teams and security partners to deliver secure scalable cloud solutions and integrations with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code practices.

As an AWS Cloud Platform Engineer at Jumbo youll design and automate cloud infrastructure that supports our business-critical applications. Youll ensure security reliability and cost optimization while collaborating with development and DevOps teams to enable smooth workflows and responsibilities include:

• Youll design and implement scalable infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Youll automate provisioning and deployments through CI/CD pipelines enforce security and compliance controls and optimize performance and costs.
• Youll also collaborate with developers and engineers to support application delivery and modernize our cloud platform.

Youll join the Container Platform team at our Veghel headquarters working closely with developers cloud engineers and security specialists in an informal collaborative environment that values initiative and innovation.

Collaboration is at the core of our approach. We work closely with domain-specific cloud engineering teams to support over 60 DevOps teams. Together we deliver essential infrastructure building blocks tailored to their unique needs.

• Strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture

• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation)

• Familiar with CI/CD GitOps and DevOps principles

• Proficient in scripting (Python Bash)

• Knowledge of networking databases (RDS DynamoDB) and observability tools (e.g. Datadog)

• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (EKS ECS ECR)

• Certifications (nice to have) AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• A gross salary between 5.700 - 7.100 per month (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of max 7.5% of your annual salary based on organizational goals.
