We are currently recruiting experienced Medical Receptionists to join a friendly and supportive GP Surgery based in Kent. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy patient-facing environment and is confident using clinical systems.

Role Overview

You will be the first point of contact for patients providing a high standard of customer service both face-to-face and over the phone. The ideal candidate will be organised professional and able to remain calm under pressure.

Working Pattern

Days: Monday Tuesday & Wednesday
Hours: 07:45 18:00 (with appropriate breaks)
Location: Kent
System: EMIS Web (experience required)

Key Responsibilities

Managing patient enquiries and appointments
Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately
Processing repeat prescriptions
Updating and maintaining accurate patient records on EMIS Web
Supporting clinical and admin teams with daily tasks
Managing patient check-ins and arrivals
Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times

Essential Requirements

EMIS Web experience
Previous experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confident multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
