Job Summary
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities including subcontractor coordination and workforce supervision;
- Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols environmental regulations and company standards;
- Oversee scheduling material deliveries inspections and daily site logistics;
- Track project milestones and provide detailed progress reports to senior management;
- Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize delays;
- Maintain thorough and accurate site documentation including logs reports and compliance records.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 20 years of experience in construction site supervision with at least 5 years in hydroelectric or heavy civil projects;
- In-depth knowledge of hydro project construction methods building codes and safety regulations;
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders;
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and engineering specifications;
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g. Procore MS Project Primavera);
- Valid drivers license and dependable transportation;
- Must be available for both planned and unplanned inspections;
- Field-based role requiring travel within Canada and/or U.S;
- Work may include exposure to extreme weather conditions rugged terrain and remote locations.
