Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (Automation) to support PowerPlans NXT product this role you will build and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript for a cloud-based metadata-driven platform. You will work closely with developers product owners and other QEs to ensure high-quality feature delivery within an agile environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing building and maintaining automated tests using Playwright TypeScript
Converting critical manual test scenarios into scalable automation
Executing in-sprint testing to validate new NXT features
Collaborating with engineering and product to identify risks and improve coverage
Participating in sprint ceremonies contributing to test strategy and improving QA processes
Ensuring automated flows support core financial calculation and metadata-driven UI workflows
This role requires strong ownership technical curiosity and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team aligned to U.S. time zones.
Qualifications :
4 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on UI and end-to-end testing
Hands-on experience with Playwright (required) and TypeScript/JavaScript
Familiarity with testing within metadata-driven UI frameworks (Angular experience is a plus)
Understanding of backend workflows APIs and data validation
Experience testing complex business logic or financial/enterprise systems preferred
Strong analytical debugging and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with developers product owners and architects in an agile environment
Proactive mindset with a focus on quality coverage and continuous improvement
Additional Information :
Must have the ability to travel to the USA (Atlanta GA) 1-2 times per year.
