Job Summary
Emerson has an exciting opportunity at our Sherman TX location for a Weekend Shift Electrician (Friday Saturday Sunday 6AM6PM). In this role you will play a key part in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems to support our operations. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Responsible for all electrical services at Emerson- Sherman.
- Fully plans and installs 120/240/480-volt electrical services which conform to city and NEC codes as required to ensure the safety of all employees and equipment.
- Responsible for other maintenance duties such as LAN installations phone lines plumbing repairs and the repair of electrical/mechanical devices including but not limited to: Production machines Assembly test equipment Equipment assigned to the building such as boilers air compressors and HVAC systems.
- Must work closely with Non-Product Buyer and factory technicians as required.
- Must follow all safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Supervisor or Manager.

For This Role You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or GED and two-year technical degree focused on the repair of electrical mechanical telecommunications or network installations.
- Must be able to provide proof of active journeymans electrical license for Grayson County.
- Minimum of 2 years hands on experience and currently qualified to install 120/240/480 voltage in manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge in the following areas: HVAC systems; Telecommunications; Electrical Circuits; Mechanical Systems; Air Compressors & Hydraulics; PLC basics.
- Knowledge in OSHA regulations pertaining to electrical installations.
- Ability to interpret maintenance prints and electrical schematics.
- Must be able to obtain a mobile equipment license to operate all mobile equipment within 2 months.
