Job Description

The Corporate & Global Functions FP&A Leader is responsible for overseeing financial planning forecasting performance management and investment governance for all Corporate & Global Functionsincluding HR IT Legal Finance Procurement and other enabling teams. This role ensures that enterprise functions are appropriately funded cost-effective and aligned to strategic priorities.

The leader will manage the functional budgeting process drive analytical rigor provide insights to executive stakeholders and steward enterprise resources to maximize ROI. This role requires strong business partnership analytical excellence and the ability to influence senior leaders across a matrixed global organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Planning Budgeting & Forecasting for Corporate & Global Functions

  • Own the annual planning cycle long-range plan and recurring forecast updates for all enabling functions.

  • Ensure consistent streamlined financial processes templates and calendars across functions.

  • Partner with functional leaders to translate strategy into clear data-driven financial plans.

  • Challenge assumptions ensure alignment with corporate strategy and improve forecast accuracy.

2. Provide Analytical Insights and Drive Performance Management

  • Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with Functional Leaders and FP&A leadership.

  • Deliver insights on cost trends operational efficiency resource utilization and risks/opportunities.

  • Conduct variance analysis with clear storytelling and root-cause insights.

  • Utilize benchmarking and KPI frameworks to evaluate performance across functions.

3. Support Enterprise Investment Decisions & Governance

  • Evaluate business cases and financial impact for major investments and transformation initiatives.

  • Conduct ROI analyses scenario modeling and sensitivity testing to support decisions.

  • Ensure proper financial governance for multi-year enterprise programs and functional investments.

  • Monitor spend against plan and escalate risks or cost pressures as necessary.

4. Strengthen FP&A Processes Tools & Data Across Functions

  • Standardize reporting dashboards and financial planning tools across global functions.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency automation and data quality.

  • Partner with Global FP&A Accounting and IT to improve systems and enhance forecasting capabilities.

  • Drive adoption of enterprise FP&A methodologies and best practices across functional teams.

5. Business Partner to Senior Functional Leaders

  • Serve as strategic advisor to Global Function heads providing insights that guide resource allocation headcount decisions and operational priorities.

  • Influence spending decisions by highlighting trade-offs between cost value and risk.

  • Translate complex financial data into simple actionable recommendations for executives.

  • Ensure functional leaders understand financial performance forecast drivers and cost-to-serve models.

6. Lead and Develop an FP&A Team

  • Manage and develop a team of FP&A business partners and analysts supporting each global function.

  • Set clear expectations create development plans and build long-term FP&A capability.

  • Promote a culture of accountability analytical rigor and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure consistent ways of working across geographies and functions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.

  • 1015 years of progressive FP&A or Corporate Finance experience including functional finance partnering.

  • Experience supporting enabling functions (HR IT Legal etc.) and managing budgets across multiple functions.

  • Demonstrated success leading FP&A processes: planning forecasting reporting and analysis.

  • Exceptional analytical modeling and financial storytelling skills.

  • Experience in matrixed and global organizations.

  • Strong influencing skills and executive presence.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
