We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk CouncilsBuilding Maintenance Team as a LGV / Labourer.
Your role:
The post holder will be required to undertake or assist in a wide range of building maintenance duties performed to or in association with the Councils retained housing stock. The role may consist of working as part of a team or lone working in many varied tasks all consistent with providing a repair and maintenance service for Council tenants to their homes
The role will include many manual handling and physical tasks as would be expected in a building maintenance environment.
What you will need:
The successful candidate will have previous building site experience and knowledge of basic building maintenance procedures and would have obtained a class 2 LGV driving licence.
The post holder will have the ability to work as part of a team however also be able to work alone and unsupervised.
