What you will do:
Obtains and/or processes specimens utilizing appropriate techniques for maintaining the integrity and identification of the patient and/or specimen.
Verifies that the appropriate specimen has been received for the test requested and performs the appropriate accessioning in the computer system
Confirms all patients records using departmental guidelines and corrects as necessary.
Work Hours/Shift:
40 hours Day Shift e/o weekend holiday rotation
Requirements:
High School Diploma.
Laboratory experience specimen processing preferred; or clinical office experience with medical terminology.
