Adagio Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Finance Manager to join our Pittsburgh PA central office. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two (2) preset in-office days per week.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCE MANAGER
If you enjoy leading teams optimizing financial processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance across diverse funding streams this role offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact.
As the Finance Manager you will:
Guide daily accounting operations and support month-end and year-end close processes.
Oversee general ledger management reconciliations grant reporting and financial statement preparation.
Partner closely with the CFO to provide timely data-driven insights for leadership funders grantors and board reporting.
Lead and develop a team of 3 finance professionals fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
Ensure compliance with GAAP federal grant requirements and FQHC-specific regulations.
Support continuous improvement by enhancing financial tools dashboards and workflow efficiencies.
This is a dynamic and highly visible role that blends analytical rigor team leadership and mission-driven financial stewardship.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FINANCE MANAGER
- A bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience
- Healthcare or nonprofit experience; FQHC experience is a plus
- Experience with grant-funded programs and federal compliance requirements preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration across departments
