The Associate Data Quality Specialist will help keep data accurate complete and consistent across all of the companys systems. You will help with data validation quality assurance and problem solving while working closely with senior data teams. This will make sure that the data is correct and help businesses make decisions.
Main Duties:
Help create and carry out quality assurance procedures and data validation tests.
Regularly check and compare data across databases spreadsheets and reporting systems.
Find write down and help fix mistakes anomalies and inconsistencies in data.
Help with tasks like cleaning changing and standardizing data.
Work with data engineers analysts and other people who have a stake in the project to make sure that data quality standards are followed.
Make and keep up basic reports or dashboards that show how well data is being used.
Help keep records of data quality processes results and steps taken to fix problems.
Help with projects that aim to make data validation workflows better all the time.
Qualifications Needed:
A bachelors degree in a related field such as data science information systems computer science statistics or a related field.
12 years of experience in roles that support data quality data validation or analytics.
You should know how to use SQL to query data and be familiar with tools like Excel Python or R for handling data.
Having experience with data visualization tools like Power BI Tableau or Looker is a plus.
A strong focus on details and a willingness to solve problems.
Good written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to write clear documents and explain technical ideas to people who dont know much about them.
You must live in the U.S. to apply; applications from outside the U.S. will not be looked at.
Pay and Benefits:
The annual salary range is $60000 to $75000 depending on experience and location.
