BAT SAUDIA IS LOOKING FOR AN OPERATION FINANCE ANALYST

Location: Jeddah Saudi Arabia

Department: Finance

Reports to: Operations Finance Manager MEC

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an analytical and detailoriented Operations Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business by tracking and analysing the cost of sales reconciling inventory records reviewing budgets and assisting in the achievement of financial targets. he ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills attention to detail and a deep understanding of cost accounting principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cost of Sales Tracking and Review:

  • Monitor and track the cost of sales on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.
  • Ensure all cost components including direct labor materials and overhead are accurately captured.
  • Work closely with the operations supply chain and procurement teams to gather data and understand cost fluctuations to analyze cost variances and prepare reports for management review.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve cost management and efficiency.

Inventory Tracking and Reconciliation:

  • Perform monthly reconciliations of physical inventory against system records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies ensuring proper adjustments are made in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure inventory valuation is accurate and aligned with financial reporting requirement
  • Analyse inventory trends and performance metrics recommending actions to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance stock control.

Budget Review and Collaboration with Supply Chain:

  • Monitor ongoing financial performance against approved budgets tracking variances and providing detailed reports.
  • Conduct monthly quarterly and annual budget reviews highlighting any significant deviations and working with stakeholders to address discrepancies.
  • Prepare variance reports explain the causes of discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
  • Assist in adjusting forecasts based on operational changes or market conditions.

CAPEX Tracking and Monitoring:

  • Monitor and track all capital expenditure requests and approvals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (IFRS) for asset capitalization and recognition.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to accurately capture all fixed asset acquisitions.
  • Track actual versus budgeted CAPEX and report on variances.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such SOCPA/CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA will be a plus.
  • 34 years of experience in a finance or operationsrelated role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software (e.g. SAP Oracle) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally with other departments (e.g. supply chain operations).
