Job Description:

You as a Senior Product Technical Support Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam Saudi Arabia. Assembling GIS components & modules into complete bays and performing routine tests through a lean & flow production line with outstanding performance that is targeting the best quality maximum cost saving and shortest delivery time. Controlling the quality of GIS contributing actively to improving manufacturing process and maintaining safe and clean work environment and leading other technician and provide support for new team members to develop competencies.

Your responsibilities

• Performing Assembly repairing and routine tests (Mechanical 10KV HV functional & resistance
  measurements) of GIS bays (including components & modules) according to the prepared work
  instructions drawings bill of materials checklists guidelines and customer order data.
• Fulfilling orders related work packages according to production data and instructions.
• Selfchecking of work packages results filling out and confirm on assigned checklists and protocols.
• Targeting the best performance in term of quality cost and delivery time
• Adequation handling of factory equipment and tools maintain equipments and sustain proper continuous calibration.
• Quality control and immediate escalation of Quality issues. Record deviation support root cause of
  failure and write quality problem or nonconformance reports
• Supporting of gathering product improvement comment or feedback from the GIS LSC (local Service
  Center) engineers.
• Actively support teamwork effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customer or stakeholder or colleague (assembly testing ..
• Independently follow the factory rules & guidelines related safety quality environment recycling and
  housekeeping.
• Maintaining safe working environment by following Hitachi Energy HSE guideline and reporting of any irregularities.
• Contributing actively to continues improvement process and Lean culture
• Providing feedback sharing ideas and observations whenever possible
• Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job
  requirements

Your background

• A bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in production facility (assembly testing & troubleshooting).
• Knowledge in products ELK04C ELK04 ELK03 & ELK14 is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Reading and precise understanding of technical drawings and material lists.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse group team player.
• Understanding the lean concept & minimizing all related 7 wastes.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
