Job Summary
Overview
This position provides a unique opportunity to engage in an analytical environment leverage business intelligence processes and interfacing with various departments within Finance and Accounting and across the company.
The Financial Analyst plays a lead role in analyzing business results and providing insights into the performance of key initiatives through analyses collaboration and communication. The analyst will serve as a business partner in a crossfunctional capacity with leadership across our various departments.
Responsibilities
- Establish frameworks to evaluate key initiatives and their efficacy
- Develop and/or enhance financial models for reporting reviewing results and forecasting
- Prepare and present analyses findings and executive reports including strategic reviews with senior executives
- Extract data from various databases and perform sophisticated analysis that results in actionable business insight
- Interact with management at all levels to facilitate information gathering
- Collaborate with budget owners to coordinate annual plan and forecast inputs while providing monthly performancetobudget reporting
- Provide ad hoc financial statement modeling and indepth analysis to drive intelligent decision making
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills including diplomacy negotiating reasoning problem solving and influence
- Skilled at developing and presenting executivelevel communications and data visualization
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and display good judgment
- Ability to develop strong interdepartmental and crossfunctional working relationships
- Advanced Excel skills
- Professional command of English and Arabic both written and verbal
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP
- Experience working with analytical reporting tools
- Familiar with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with budgeting and planning methodologies and tools
- Masters degree in finance accounting or related field
- CFA or CPA/SOCPA certification a plus
