Job Description:
The MEA Legal and Compliance team is a collaborative and high performing function which enjoys and values the support of the business.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Compliance of Cigna KSA leading shaping and developing opportunities from the outset. There will be opportunities to work with senior leaders including the General Manager of Cigna Saudi Arabia the MEA Regional Head of Compliance and business leaders around the world.
As part of the Saudi Compliance team and the regional MEA Legal and Compliance team the successful candidate will be a trusted team member asked to shape and stay involved in opportunities and projects from the outset. As a Compliance Officer you will work closely with your colleagues in Compliance supporting Cignas business with accurate proportionate and timely compliance and regulatory advice to assist the operational strategic and financial aims of Cigna KSA. The job content will be excitingly broad in line with the scope of Cigna Saudi Arabias business.
Key Responsibilities:
- General team business and administrative support related to the Compliance Function.
- Responding to business queries under supervision of the Head of Compliance on routine compliance matters.
- Maintaining properly organized records for compliance including but not limited to
- Regulator database
- Policies and procedures database
- Approvals Registers (this includes but not limited to: F&P Products Outsourcing.
- correspondence with regulators
- Support Head of Compliance with production and updating of internal reports and registers such as the compliance report risk register etc.
- Support team with development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Support compliance team with organization development and delivery of compliance training on key compliance topics.
- Support with regulatory licence renewals as needed.
- Undertake regulatory analysis as needed for the business.
- Oversee timely submission of regulatory reports by business functions.
- Based on a risk assessment support the Head of Compliance with creation of the annual compliance plan for Cigna KSA.
- To assist the Head of Compliance in establishing and executing testing and monitoring plan against key compliance risks (as documented in annual plan) and draft relevant reports.
- Facilitate implementation of new compliance requirements by the first line of defense
- Help in drafting new compliance policies as needed.
- Support the regional Compliance Team as needed.
- In addition to Cigna University compliance training courses help in delivering compliance training to business units and entities in Saudi Arabia
- Create targeted compliance communications
- Propose and execute on initiatives to embed a culture of compliance
