Job Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Urban Planner with 2 to 3 years of experience including a minimum of 2 years in an engineering consultancy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting urban planning initiatives and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative planning solutions that meet regulatory and community requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultancy Support:
- Assist in the preparation of consultancy reports and planning studies to support client projects.
- Coordinate with local government authorities stakeholders and consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and zoning laws.
- Contribute to presentations and proposals that effectively communicate planning strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- Data Analysis & Research:
- Analyze demographic economic and environmental data to inform planning decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate trends in urban development and land use planning to provide innovative solutions.
- Support the collection and analysis of project data to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Project Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project milestones.
- Assist in project management tasks including scheduling resource allocation and progress tracking.
- Communicate project updates and progress reports to internal teams and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Urban Planning Urban Design Architecture or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in engineering consultancy setting.
- Proficiency in urban planning software and design tools.
- Strong analytical research and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local planning regulations zoning laws and sustainable development practices is desirable.
