Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Events Western Chef to join our culinary team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As the Events Western Chef you will be responsible for creating exceptional Western cuisine for various events and functions ensuring highquality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute innovative Westernstyle menus for diverse events and functions
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team during event preparations and service
- Ensure food quality presentation and taste meet the highest standards
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory budgeting and cost control
- Collaborate with the events team to customize menus according to client preferences
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in Western culinary techniques and best practices
- Participate in menu tastings and client consultations as needed
- Stay updated on current culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
- Oversee the proper storage handling and rotation of food products
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Western cuisine chef with a focus on event catering
- Proven expertise in advanced Western culinary techniques and menu development
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards with relevant certification
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and MS Office applications
- Creative approach to food presentation and plating
- Experience in budgeting and cost control for largescale events
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
- Willingness to work in Jeddah Saudi Arabia
