Job Summary
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Metallurgical Engineerwho will be primarily responsible for the failure analysis inspections operations reporting and consultation services.
This position will be based in Dammam KSA
Responsibilities
- Supervision conducting and reporting of failure analysis
- Presentation of technical work in different platforms both written and oral in a confident manner
- Exhibit pragmatic and innovative with respect to both conduct of the investigation and providing solutions for the client
- Review technical documents and to construct a suitable scope of work
- Estimate the work effort required and to help in the commercial breakdown of the work
- Supervise routine metallographic examinations and review / compose standard reporting comments
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience and recognized qualification in Metallurgy
- Experience in conducting and reporting of root cause failure analysis
- Experience in working with SEM / EDS (Scanning Electron Microscopy / Energy Dispersive analysis)
- Experience working in an ISI 17025 laboratory environment
- Proven supervisory skills
- Strong communication / presentation skills
- The ability to assess and respond to client requirements in an appropriate manner
- Ability to operate and function within a team drawing on other expertise where required
- Flexibility and adaptability to different workloads and roles within the company
