Job Summary

M&E Estimation Engineer
Yanbu Saudi Arabia

Job Duties

An estimating manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities which can include:
Interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to determine work requirements
Reviewing bids from vendors or contractors to ensure they are fair and reasonable
Coordinating with other managers to ensure schedules are met and projects are completed on time
Reviewing progress on projects and making adjustments to schedules as needed
Estimating materials costs and labor hours needed to complete projects
Managing a team of employees to ensure that work is performed efficiently and effectively
Ensuring that contractors meet safety standards and comply with local regulations
Reviewing finished products to ensure that they meet quality standards
Keeping records of all project details and documentation such as contracts bids and correspondence

Estimating managers need the following skills in order to be successful:
Communication: You may be required to communicate with clients other managers and employees suppliers and other individuals. You may also be required to communicate complex information in a way that is easy to understand.
Leadership: Leadership skills can help you become an effective estimating manager. You can use your leadership skills to motivate your team encourage professional development and help your team meet project deadlines. Leadership skills can also help you guide your team through any challenges they may face.
Problemsolving: you may be responsible for resolving issues that arise during the estimating process. Problemsolving skills can help you identify and address challenges effectively. You may also use problemsolving skills to find solutions to issues that arise during the implementation of a project.
Negotiation: Negotiation is the ability to reach an agreement between two parties. As an estimating manager you may be responsible for negotiating with suppliers to get the best price on materials or negotiating with the client to ensure the project stays within budget.

Qualification and Experience:

Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
7 Years of experience.
Have a good experience with Saudi Aramco Sabic and the private local markets
experience with ElectroMechanical Contracting companies
You should have Saudi Experience
