Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the entire project and ensuring it adheres to the established timelines and budget.
Coordinating with other project stakeholders including architects contractors and government agencies.
Developing detailed design plans for all structural activities related to airport structures.
Ensuring compliance with local regulations safety standards and environmental requirements.
Verifying conformance to applicable local and international codes and guidelines in both design and construction practice.
Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
Identifying potential risks to the project and developing mitigation plans.
Monitoring and managing project risks throughout the construction process.
Implementing quality control procedures to ensure the construction adheres to design specifications and meets industry standards.
Conducting regular inspections and quality audits.
Proactively coordinating with other disciplines for interface matrix making sure that structural discipline is aligned with the architectural ICT and all other engineering disciplines
Addressing and resolving any design or construction issues that may arise.
Developing and managing project budgets tracking project costs and expenditures Identifying costsaving opportunities and recommending changes when necessary.
Managing contracts with construction firms and subcontractors.
Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
Ensuring that all parties involved adhere to contract requirements.
Obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
