Job Summary
Room Technician
This position is responsible for addressing all engineeringrelated guest room requests promptly and professionally ensuring a high standard of maintenance and guest satisfaction.
- Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms following established checklists and procedures to ensure all areas are in excellent working condition.
- Respond swiftly and efficiently to engineering service requests related to guest rooms.
- Carry out all assigned work orders preventive maintenance programs (PPM) and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping and Front Office teams regarding room status or issues that may affect room availability.
- Operate and monitor the systems daily to manage maintenance requests and schedules.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed including details of parts used and spare parts ordered.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification or training in technical trades (plumbing electrical HVAC etc. is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and general computer literacy.
- Good command of the English language both spoken and written.
