Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting operations preparing financial reports ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing financial analysis and support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Conduct variance analysis and report significant findings to management.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documents.
Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
Perform monthend and yearend close processes.
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide insights and recommendations.
Prepare financial projections and cash flow forecasts.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Provide financial analysis and support for business decisions.
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
CA or CPA (fully qualified no interCAs)
Minimum of 57 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proven experience in financial reporting budgeting and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
