Site Mechanical Engineer

Installation & Supervision

• Supervise the installation of mechanical components including pumps valves pipelines and filtration units.
• Ensure proper alignment welding and fitting of components.
• Interpret and review mechanical drawings P&ID diagrams and technical documentation.

Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct inspections testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Ensure proper calibration and alignment of pumps motors and piping networks.
• Assist in plant startup and operational trials to verify system functionality.

Compliance & Safety

• Enforce safety measures and compliance with environmental and health regulations.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements for mechanical work.

Coordination & Documentation

• Collaborate with civil and electrical engineers to ensure smooth project .
• Prepare technical reports project records and progress documentation.
• Prepare invoices with the client and main contractor.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 35 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants.
• Background in mechanical engineering particularly in water treatment facilities along with expertise in supervision testing compliance and coordination.
