Job Summary

The Lobby Ambassador position is a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the hotels reputation for excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Greet and acknowledge each guest with appropriate formality maintaining professional demeanour at all times.
  2. Provide a courteous farewell to departing guests ensuring their experience concludes positively.
  3. Address guest requests concerns and needs with utmost urgency and professionalism prioritising guest satisfaction as a paramount objective.
  4. Maintain impeccable personal presentation adhering strictly to company policies regarding uniform standards and hygiene.
  5. Demonstrate active listening skills when interacting with guests ensuring a customercentric approach and appropriate handling of complaints.
  6. Facilitate interdepartmental communication to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  7. Strictly adhere to VIP protocols providing distinguished service to highprofile guests.
  8. Process and respond to guest feedback forms suggestions and complaints with due diligence.
  9. Participate in mandatory training programmes and departmental meetings to maintain and enhance professional standards.
  10. Actively contribute to environmental conservation efforts including waste reduction proper chemical handling and promoting sustainable practices.
  11. Uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene and appearance recognising the critical nature of guestfacing roles.

Qualifications :

 

  • Education: at least High school or vocational diploma
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the industry.
  • Foreign Language: Proficiency in English to communicate with guests and understand the professional terminology related to the devices and a good command of Arabic German French English or Russian
  • Courses and Training: Prior attendance in seminars and training related to the job.
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office applications Front Office programmes (Fidelio Opera etc..
  • Skills: Is familiar with guest profiles based on his/her experience. Customer Service Orientation.
