Job Summary
We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced RecordtoReport (R2R) Accountant to join our finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting maintaining general ledger integrity and supporting the monthend and yearend closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial controls and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute the monthend quarterend and yearend closing processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts ensuring compliance with accounting policies and IFRS/GAAP standards.
Prepare and review journal entries accruals and adjustments to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Ensure intercompany reconciliations and group reporting compliance resolving any discrepancies.
Support the external and internal audit processes by preparing required reports and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Assist in preparing financial statements balance sheets profit & loss statements and management reports.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including AP AR FP&A and Tax to ensure alignment in financial reporting.
Support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies SOX controls and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA CMA or DipIFR is a plus).
- 3 years of experience in general accounting R2R or financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines.
