Job Role Summary

This role focuses on developing deep knowledge of Financial Reporting and Business Analysis processes and associated business best practices implemented in Downstream Chemicals Upstream and Corporate Business Lines. This business process knowledge is applied to support IT applications implemented on various technical platforms.
Key systems: o SAP: CARS GEMS IPES NAPES STRIPES o NON SAP: COGNOS DATAFLEX IDEAS

Job Role Responsibilities

Develop and maintain working relationship with Controllers (CFS Downstream Controllers Chemicals Controllers Upstream Controllers) BAR organizations Financial BCoEs and Business Process Networks Business IT DSIT ChemIT UIT Corporate IT)
Collaborate with other IT service providers and professionals to maintain system integrity integration and especially when working on upgrades and enhancements e.g developers system/platform administrators etc.
Support integration within the system and outside the system.
Apply techniques to solicit prioritized needs/wants of the business and transform them into application requirements.
Manage business expectations while balancing system and technical requirements capabilities and applicable global common processes.
Develop and maintain applications configuration changes to meet business requirement.
Support the business through problem solving and consultation regarding the functionality of applications involved on this business process.
Maintain global data standards for common types of data related to this specific business process.
Contribute to projects introducing new solutions to support this business process area.
Stay uptodate on industry and technology trends for processes at this job role.
Develop working relationship with key vendors to influence their solutions to meet our business requirements expedite incident resolving and participate in application license agreements.
Manage / Support cloud solutions on adopted SaaS systems on this business process including relationship with vendor escalation system interfaces and configuration.
Maintain knowledge of vendor products deployed to support this business process area and their roadmaps including SaaS solutions.
Help secure compliance of systems supported with Controllers Accounting and Controls standards
