We are seeking a Data Engineer Business Intelligence to join our team. This role will involve building and optimizing data pipelines designing scalable data models developing BI reporting solutions and partnering with business teams to translate requirements into actionable analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL data modeling AWS Databricks GCP BI visualization tools Python/SAS/R and a passion for leveraging data to support decision-making in fast-paced environments.

Trilyon is looking for a Data Engineer Business Intelligence to join its high-performing analytics organization. As a Data Engineer Business Intelligence you will be responsible for working with large complex datasets enhancing BI infrastructure developing data pipelines and delivering impactful reporting and dashboards. This role requires the ability to redesign data marts for scalability improve data architecture automate data processes and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand key reporting needs.

The Data Engineer Business Intelligence will also play a critical role in data quality lifecycle documentation and cross-functional partnership with enterprise data teams. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys solving data challenges optimizing data systems and innovating within cloud-based ecosystems. As a core contributor the Data Engineer Business Intelligence will support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations to ensure high reliability and accuracy of data used across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and process large complex datasets to support business needs.
Re-design and optimize data marts for scalability performance and flexibility.
Ensure data architecture meets current and evolving business model requirements.
Implement process improvements (automation optimized data delivery scalable infrastructure).
Create and maintain documentation throughout all stages of the data lifecycle.
Develop and maintain BI dashboards and executive-level reporting using Tableau or Power BI.
Work closely with business units to analyze gather and prioritize reporting and analytics requirements.
Partner with enterprise data teams to support data governance quality and management best practices.
Collaborate with business leaders to design and track marketing tests for new programs or products.
Produce ad hoc reports and insights for business experimentation and analysis.
Build and manage data models in Oracle AWS Databricks and other cloud environments.
Provide regular updates on project timelines deliverables and milestones.
Perform root cause analysis to identify opportunities for data quality and process improvement.
Work with relational and non-relational databases large datasets and big data ecosystems.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field.
4 years of experience in BI data engineering or data analysis.
Hands-on experience with SAS R or Python.
3 years of SQL and programming experience.
Strong experience with dimensional modeling and improving data reliability.
1 years hands-on experience with AWS and big data distributed systems.
2 years experience with Databricks and GCP.
2 years experience with Tableau or Power BI.
Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
Experience with large datasets and data performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Retail energy gas or power industry experience.
Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes.
Strong history of data manipulation and extracting insights from large datasets.
Strong organizational and communication skills with experience supporting cross-functional teams.
Ability to work through ambiguity and translate open-ended problems into actionable solutions.
