Performs diagnostic procedures requiring the use of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. Ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of human structure and function as well as the knowledge and skills to identify each patient s requirement relative to his or her age specific needs. Candidate must also be familiar with principles of patient care radiographic exposure radiation protection and specialized technique as required for a radiologic technologist. CT experience preferred. Evening shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) with occasional weekend and on-call rotation. Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology program with Radiologic Technologist registration with the State of Illinois. BLS Certification and ARRT Certification required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and may be exposed to communicable diseases.
