MUST HAVE CPN KNOWLEDGE Hospital: TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center Location: Hendersonville TN Address: 355 New Shackle Island Road Unit Name: NICU Building: The Birth Center Cost Center:34296 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 11 Patient Ratios: 2:1 to 3:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Charge RN who attends deliveries and admissions and 2 staff RN s Type of equipment: Vapotherm Avea Vent Giraffes Alaris IV pumps Syringe Feeding Pumps Documentation system: CPN and Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3- 12-hour shifts/ week Floating policy: will not float outside of NICU Patient Experience requirements: Family centered care provided. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS NRP STABLE encouraged Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: NICU Level 2 or higher experience Must have: Advanced skills needed: PIV insertion NG placement and feedings assisting with procedures daily care of sick and preterm newborns recognition of changes in newborn Procedures performed on unit: PIV UAC UVC PICC Lumbar puncture chest needling chest tubes surfactant administration glucose monitoring Certifications Required: NRP STABLE encouraged.
