Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fuel injection components and systems (injectors pumps rails valves) for 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine engines.
- Perform detailed hydraulic and mechanical calculations to ensure system performance and durability.
- Perform design validation using FEA & CFD tools.
- Analyze test data to identify performance trends failure modes and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with IMO emission regulations and classification society standards.
- Prepare technical documentation including design reports test plans and validation summaries.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for existing systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Marine Engineering or related field.
- 3 7 years of experience in fuel system design and validation preferably in marine or heavy-duty engines.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS GT-Suite AMESim).
- Strong understanding of combustion principles fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
- Experience with high-pressure hydraulic systems and electronic fuel injection controls.
- Familiarity with marine engine standards (IMO Tier II/III SOLAS MARPOL).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
