Tandem Engineer

We have partnered with a financial company in the New York NY area to provide them with a Tandem Engineer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized must haves for the Tandem Engineer:

#1. Advanced hands-on experience with HPE NonStop (Tandem) systems including administration tuning maintenance upgrades patching and production support.

#2. Strong expertise with Tandem ecosystem tools such as Enform Guardian OS Viewpoint Pathcom Mediacom Batchcom RDFCOM SPOOLCOM IRS and familiarity with SECOM Telemail SecureTape VLE ESKM OutsideView.

#3. Experience supporting or administering Tandem-based applications preferably the Atlas General Ledger system including development documentation and user support.

#4. Banking industry experience with functional knowledge of financial products and ability to act as a liaison with business lines and IT teams.

#5. Strong communication organization and project management skills to coordinate across infrastructure application teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements for the Tandem Engineer:

• 5 years of experience as a Tandem Engineer and/or Atlas Engineer.
• 3 years experience working in Banking
• Advanced knowledge of HP Tandem Nonstop System and/or Atlas.
• Advanced knowledge of Enform Guardian OS Viewpoint Viewsys Pathcom Mediacom Batchcom RDFCOM SPOOLCOM and IRS
• Knowledge of SECOM Telemail SecureTape VLE ESKM key manager and OutsideView
• Functional working knowledge of a broad scope of financial products
• Good organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Project Management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Other Key Requirements:

• Hybrid work scheduled at least 2 days in office per week.
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
