Job Description
White Plains Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The Respiratory Therapist will deliver comprehensive respiratory care services to both inpatients and outpatients ensuring high-quality clinical support in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide all aspects of respiratory therapy including assessment treatment and monitoring for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer therapeutic respiratory procedures such as oxygen therapy aerosol treatments mechanical ventilation and airway management.
- Evaluate patient responses to therapy and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care goals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
- Ensure safe operation of respiratory therapy equipment and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current and valid New York State Respiratory Therapy License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- NRP and ACLS certifications strongly recommended.

- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
